عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً عَنْ دُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ، فَقَالَ: دُلُوكُهَا: مَيْلُهَا، قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: إِنْ قُمْتُ فِي الظُّهْرِ فَأُصَلِّيهَا فَأَسْحعتُ [١]فِيهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ تَزِيغَ الشَّمْسُ، فَلَمْ أَرْكَعْ حَتَّى زَاغَتْ قَالَ: لَا أُحِبُّ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ تَلَا: ﴿لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ ﴾
Translation
✧ I asked Ata about the declining of the sun, and he said: Its declining is its inclination. I said to Ata: If I stand for Zuhr and pray it and I prolong it before the sun declines, and I do not bow until it has declined? He said: I do not like that. Then he recited: 'at the declining of the sun'.
