Translation
✧ Umar came to Makkah and Abu Mahdhura gave the call to prayer for him. He said to him, 'Did you not fear that your cloak would be torn?' He said, 'O Commander of the Faithful, you have arrived, and I wanted to let you hear my call to prayer.' Umar said to him, 'Your land, O people of Tihama, is hot, so wait for it to cool, then wait for it to cool twice or thrice, then give the call to prayer, then give the iqama and I will come to you.'
