عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَيُّ حِينٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ إِمَامًا وَخَلْوًا ؟ قَالَ: حِينَ تُبْرِدُ، أَوْ بَعْدَ الْإِبْرَادِ، وَلَا تُمْسِي بِهَا قُلْتُ: أَفَرَأَيْتَ فِي الشِّتَاءِ ؟ قَالَ: وَحِينَ تُبْرِدُ، وَقَبْلَ الْحِينِ الَّتِي تُصَلِّيهَا فِي الصَّيْفِ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْبَرْدِ، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ صَلَّيْتُهَا فِي بَيْتٍ فِي ظِلٍّ قَالَ: وَحِينَ تُبْرِدُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': 'Which time do you prefer for me to pray Zuhr, whether as imam or alone?' He said: 'When it cools down, or after it has cooled down, though do not delay it into the evening.' I said: 'What about in the winter?' He said: 'When it cools down, and before the time you would pray it in summer, because of the cold.' I said: 'What if I pray it in a house, in the shade?' He said: 'When it cools down is preferable to me.'
