Chain of narrators

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq informed us, from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, who said: He said to me: Shall I not narrate to you two amazing hadiths? Ḥumayd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān informed me, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Messenger of God ﷺ, who said:

Machine translation, not reviewed

A man transgressed against himself. When death came to him, he instructed his sons, saying: "When I die, burn me, then grind me up, then scatter me in the wind over the sea. By God, if my Lord gets hold of me, He will punish me with a punishment He has not inflicted on anyone..." He said: "Fear of You," or he said: "of Your punishment, my Lord." So He forgave him because of that.
