أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، قَالَ:
قِيلَ لِلُقْمَانَ: أَيُّ النَّاسِ أَصْبَرُ - أَوْ قَالَ: خَيْرٌ ؟ - قَالَ: صَبْرٌ لَا يَتْبَعُهُ أَذًى، قَالَ: قِيلَ: فَأَيُّ النَّاسِ أَعْلَمُ ؟ قَالَ: مَنِ ازْدَادَ مِنْ عِلْمِ النَّاسِ إِلَى عِلْمِهِ، قَالَ: فَأَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ ؟ قَالَ: الْغَنِيُّ، قِيلَ: الْغِنَاءُ مِنَ الْمَالِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنَّ الْغَنِيَّ الَّذِي إِذَا الْتُمِسَ عِنْدَهُ خَيْرٌ وُجِدَ وَإِلَّا أَعْفَى النَّاسَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ
