✧ The virtue of praying in congregation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ قَالَ:
دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ بَيْتَ الْمَالِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعَصْرَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ صَلَاةَ الْجَمِيعِ تَفْضُلُ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَحْدَهُ بِضْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ
Translation
✧ Zayd b. Thabit came to us at the treasury and led us in Asr prayer, then said: The prayer of the congregation exceeds the prayer of a man alone by twenty-some degrees.
