✧ Wool of a Dead Animal

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ:
لَيْسَ لِصُوفِ الْمَيْتَةِ ذَكَاةٌ، اغْسِلْهُ فَانْتَفِعْ بِهِ. قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ: أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا نَنْزِعُهُ وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ
Translation
✧ The wool of a dead animal has no ritual slaughter; wash it and make use of it. Al-Thawrī said: Do you not see that we shear it while it is alive?
