✧ The virtue of praying in congregation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ:
شُهُودُ صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ مَا كَانَتْ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ قِيَامِ لَيْلَةٍ، وَصِيَامِ يَوْمٍ
Translation
✧ Attending an obligatory prayer, whatever it may be, is dearer to me than standing in prayer for a night and fasting for a day.
