✧ The virtue of praying in congregation

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
فَضْلُ صَلَاةِ الْجَمِيعِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْوَاحِدِ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ دَرَجَةً، وَتَجْتَمِعُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ. يَقُولُ نص إضافيأَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: نص إضافيوَاقْرَأُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: ﴿وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا ﴾. قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: قَالَ نص إضافيقَتَادَةُ: نص إضافييَشْهَدُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَمَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ
Translation
✧ The virtue of praying in a group over praying alone is twenty-five degrees, and the angels of the night and the angels of the day gather in the dawn prayer. Abu Hurayrah says: And recite if you wish: 'And the recitation of dawn, indeed the recitation of dawn is witnessed.' Ma'mar said: Qatadah said: The angels of the night and the angels of the day witness it.
