✧ A man praying in the city without an iqama

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ
فِي رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ الْإِقَامَةَ حَتَّى قَامَ يُصَلِّي قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: إِذَا كَانَ فِي مِصْرٍ تُقَامُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةُ أَجْزَأَ عَنْهُ
Translation
✧ Regarding a man who forgot the iqama until he stood up to pray, he said: Ibn Umar's practice was: if he was in a city where the prayer is called with an iqama, that sufficed for him.
