✧ The concession for one who hears the call

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ النَّحَّامِ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ مُؤَذِّنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بَارِدَةٍ، وَأَنَا فِي لِحَافٍ فَتَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ يَقُولَ: صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ: صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا فَإِذَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كَانَ أَمَرَ بِذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ I heard the mu'adhdhin of the Prophet ﷺ on a cold night while I was under my blanket, and I wished he would say, 'Pray in your dwellings.' When he reached 'Hayya 'ala al-falah,' he said, 'Pray in your dwellings.' Then I asked about it, and indeed the Prophet ﷺ had commanded that.
