✧ The adhan at the break of dawn
1903 1885 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ. متن مخفيإِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ فَمَنْ أَرَادَ الصَّوْمَ فَلَا يَمْنَعُهُ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ أَذَانَ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ
Translation
✧ Abd al-Razzaq, from Malik and Ibn 'Uyayna, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim, from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ the like of it. Hidden text: Bilal gives the call to prayer at night, so whoever intends to fast should not be deterred by Bilal's call until he hears the call of Ibn Umm Maktum.
