✧ Prayer is better than sleep

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ:
كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يُمْهِلُ، فَلَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، قَدْ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ
Translation
✧ The muezzin of the Prophet ﷺ would wait and not give the iqamah until he saw the Prophet ﷺ had come out; then he would give the iqamah for prayer when he saw him.
