عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:

كَانُوا يَكْرَهُونَ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِ إِذَا أَخَذَ فِي أَذَانِهِ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ، وَفِي الْإِقَامَةِ كَذَلِكَ، وَيَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ. قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ: وَقَدَمَاهُ مَكَانَهُمَا.

Translation

✧ They used to dislike for the muezzin, once he had begun his call to prayer, to speak until he had finished, and likewise during the iqamah, and he should face the qiblah for the takbir and the shahadah. Ibrahim said: 'And his feet should remain in place.'
