عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
مَرَّ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بِمُؤَذِّنٍ فَقَالَ: أَوْتِرْ أَذَانَكَ، فَإِنَّ الْأَذَانَ وِتْرٌ
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar passed by a muezzin and said: Make your adhan odd (in number), for the adhan is odd.
