✧ The beginning of the call to prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ،
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ حِينَ اسْتَعْمَلَهُ عَلَى الطَّائِفِ: وَإِنْ أَتَاكَ رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُؤَذِّنَ فَلَا تَمْنَعْهُ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'Uthman b. Abi al-'As when he appointed him over Ta'if: If a man comes to you wanting to give the call to prayer, do not prevent him.
