عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ،
أَنَّهُ رَأَى شُرَيْحًا يَقْضِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَرَأَيْتُ أَنَا ابْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى يَقْضِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ.
Translation
✧ He saw Shurayḥ adjudicating in the mosque, and I myself saw Ibn Abī Laylā adjudicating in the mosque.
