عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَبْصُقْ أَمَامَهُ، وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلَكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ فَلْيَبْصُقْ فِي طَرَفِ ثَوْبِهِ، وَقَالَ: هَكَذَا، وَعَطَفَ ثَوْبَهُ فَدَلَكَهُ فِيهِ

Translation

✧ When one of you prays, he should not spit in front of him or to his right, but to his left; and if he cannot, let him spit into the edge of his garment. And he said: Like this, and he folded his garment and rubbed it in it.
