عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ يُقَالُ لَهُ: عَبْدُ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
أَبْصَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا بِحَصَاةٍ أَوْ بِشَيْءٍ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا يُؤْمِنُ هَذَا أَنْ تَكُونَ كَيَّةً بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ، قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا: ثُمَّ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِخَلُوقٍ أَوْ بِزَعْفَرَانٍ فَلَطَّخَهُ بِهِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw phlegm in the qiblah of the mosque, so he scraped it off with a pebble or something, then said: Does this person not fear that it may become a brand between his eyes? One of them said: Then the Prophet ﷺ called for perfume or saffron and smeared it on the spot.
