عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ قَالَ:
دَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، وَرَهْطً مَعِي مِنْ أَهْلِ الصُّفَّةِ، فَتَعَشَّيْنَا عِنْدَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنْ شِئْتُمْ رَقَدْتُمْ هَاهُنَا، وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقُلْنَا: فِي الْمَسْجِدِ. قَالَ: فَكُنَّا نَنَامُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ invited me and a group with me from the people of the Suffah, and we had dinner with him. Then he said: If you wish, you may sleep here, or if you wish, in the mosque. We said: In the mosque. He said: So we used to sleep in the mosque.
