✧ Does He Perform Ablution for Every Prayer or Not?

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
الْوُضُوءُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، قُلْتُ: فَإِنَّهُ يَقُولُ: ﴿إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاةِ ﴾قَالَ: حَسْبُكَ الْوُضُوءُ الْأَوَّلُ، لَوْ تَوَضَّأْتُ لِلصُّبْحِ لَصَلَّيْتُ الصَّلَوَاتِ كُلَّهَا بِهِ مَا لَمْ أُحْدِثْ قُلْتُ: فَيُسْتَحَبُّ أَنْ أَتَوَضَّأَ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ؟ قَالَ: لَا
Translation
✧ Is ablution for every prayer? He said: No. I said: But He says: {When you rise to prayer}. He said: The first ablution suffices you. If I performed ablution for the morning prayer, I would pray all the prayers with it as long as I did not invalidate it. I said: Is it recommended to perform ablution for every prayer? He said: No.
