عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:

لَا تَعَلَّمُوا رَطَانَةَ الْأَعَاجِمِ، وَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي كَنَائِسِهِمْ يَوْمَ عِيدِهِمْ، فَإِنَّ السَّخْطَةَ تَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِمْ

Translation

✧ Do not learn the jargon of the non-Arabs, and do not enter their churches on their festival day, for wrath descends upon them.
