✧ Praying in livestock pens and camel meat: does one perform ablution from it?
1613 1597 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ. متن مخفيأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ أَنُصَلِّي فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ قَالَ لَا قَالَ أَفَنُصَلِّي فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَنَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ لَا
Translation
✧ 1613 1597 - Abd al-Razzaq from Ma'mar, from al-A'mash, from a man, from Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Layla, from al-Bara' b. Azib, from the Prophet ﷺ the like of it. Hidden text: The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked: Should we pray at camel watering places? He said: No. He said: Should we pray in sheep pens? He said: Yes. He said: Should we perform ablution from sheep meat? He said: No.
