✧ Praying on the road

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ مَعَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَأَمَّنِي فِي الْفَجْرِ فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَتَنَحَّى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ: كَانَ يُسْتَحَبُّ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ الرَّجُلُ عَنْ يَمِينِ الطَّرِيقِ أَوْ يُصَلِّيَ عَنْ يَمِينِ الطَّرِيقِ

Translation

✧ I was with Ibrāhīm, and he led me in the dawn prayer and had me stand on his right, and he moved away from the road. Sulaymān said: It was recommended for a man to dismount on the right side of the road or to pray on the right side of the road.
