عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الْمُكَاتَبِ يَمُوتُ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ، قَالَ: مَا سَمِعْتُ فِيهِ قَالَ: يَقُولُ: كَانَ شُرَيْحٌ يَقُولُ: يُحَاصُّهُمْ سَيِّدُهُ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَخْطَأَ شُرَيْحٌ، وَكَانَ قَاضِيًا، قَضَى زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ الدَّيْنَ أَحَقُّ
