✧ Praying on a small mat and carpets

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ
سَأَلْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ عَنِ السُّجُودِ عَلَى الطِّنْفِسَةِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ بِذَاكَ، كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ
Translation
✧ I asked al-Zuhri about prostrating on a cushion. He said: There is no harm in that. The Messenger of God ﷺ used to pray on a small mat.
