عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قَالَ إِنْسَانٌ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ صَلَّيْتُ فِي مَكَانٍ جَدَدٍ أَفْحَصُ عَنْ وَجْهِي التُّرَابَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ A man said to ʿAṭāʾ: What do you think—if I pray on hard, smooth ground, should I scrape away the dust from my face? He said: Yes.
