✧ The place of the sandals during prayer when they are removed

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ،

أَنَّ ابْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ لَهُ: لِمَ تَضَعُ نَعْلَيْكَ عَلَى يَسَارِكَ، وَتُؤْذِي بِهِمَا صَاحِبَكَ، فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ أَبُوهُ فَقَالَ: أَجَلْ ضَعْهُمَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْكَ، فَكَانَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ لَا يَضَعُهُمَا أَبَدًا إِلَّا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ

Translation

✧ Ibn Munabbih said to him: "Why do you place your sandals on your left side and annoy your companion with them?" His father heard that and said: "Yes, place them between your feet." Thus Ibn Tawus would never place them except between his feet.
