✧ What is said about a garment dyed with urine

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، أَوْ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَنْهَى أَنْ يُصْبَغَ بِالْبَوْلِ. قَالَ: وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَسْتَنْسِجُ بِحُلَلٍ لِأَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فَبَلَغَتِ الْحُلَّةُ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

Translation

✧ Ibn ʿUmar, or ʿUmar, used to forbid dyeing with urine. He said: And ʿUmar used to commission garments for the companions of Muhammad ﷺ, and a garment reached a thousand dirhams or more than that.
