عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: الصَّبِيُّ مَا لَمْ يَأْكُلِ الطَّعَامَ، أَتَغْسِلُ بَوْلَهُ أَوْ سَلْحَةً مِنْ ثَوْبِكَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا أَرُشُّ عَلَيْهِ أَوْ أَصْبُبُ عَلَيْهِ ؟ قُلْتُ: الصَّبِيُّ يَلْعَقُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الطَّعَامَ بِالسَّمْنِ وَالْعَسَلِ وَذَلِكَ طَعَامُهُ، قَالَ: ارْشُشْ أَوِ اصْبُبْ
Translation
✧ I said to 'Aṭā': "A boy who has not eaten food – do you wash his urine or his excrement from your garment?" He said: "I do not wash; I sprinkle on it or pour on it?" I said: "A boy licks ghee and honey before eating food, and that is his food." He said: "Sprinkle or pour."
