أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
نَهَى عُمَرُ عَنِ الْوَرِقِ إِلَّا مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، أَوِ الزُّبَيْرُ: إِنَّهَا تُزَيِّفُ عَلَيْنَا الْأَوْرَاقَ فَنُعْطِي الْخَبِيثَ وَنَأْخُذُ الطَّيِّبَ، قَالَ: " فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا، وَلَكِنِ انْطَلِقْ إِلَى الْبَقِيعِ فَبِعْ وَرِقَكَ بِثَوْبٍ أَوْ عَرَضٍ، فَإِذَا قَبَضْتَ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ، فَبِعْهُ وَاهْضِمْ مَا شِئْتَ، وَخُذْ مَا شِئْتَ
