أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ:
اخْتُصِمَ إِلَى شُرَيْحٍ فِي رَجُلٍ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: ادْفَعْ إِلَى فُلَانٍ خَمْسِينَ دِرْهَمًا، وَأَنَا لَهُ ضَامِنٌ، فَزَعَمَ الرَّجُلُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ دَفَعَهَا، فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: " بَيِّنَتُكَ بِمَا قَدْ دَفَعْتَ، وَإِلَّا فَيَمِينُهُ، وَاللهِ مَا عَلِمَ دَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْئًا ". فَكَأَنَّ الرَّجُلَ هَابَ الْيَمِينَ، فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: " فَأَنَا أَحْلِفُ بِاللهِ: مَا أَعْلَمُهُ دَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ شَيْئًا "، فَقَالَ خَصْمُهُ: لَقَدْ غَرَّيْتَهُ مِنْ يَمِينٍ مَا كَانَ يُقْدِمُ عَلَيْهَا
