عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقِبَاءِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: أَيُصَلِّي فِيهِ الْمَرْءُ وَحْدَهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: الْقِبَاءُ مُفَرَّجٌ، وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ صَلَّى فِيهِ وَحْدَهُ وَلَكِنْ لِيَتَّزِرْ عَلَيْهِ، أَوْ تَحْتَهُ إِزَارٌ قُلْتُ لَهُ: أَفَيُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ فِي السَّرَاوِيلِ وَحْدَهَا ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، إِلَّا أَنْ لَا يَجِدَ غَيْرَهَا
Translation
✧ He was asked about the qabāʾ (outer garment with a front opening) while I was listening: May a man pray in it alone? He said: The qabāʾ is open, and were it not for that he could pray in it alone, but let him put a waist-wrapper over it or under it. I said to him: May a man pray in sirwāl (trousers) alone? He said: No, unless he cannot find anything else.
