عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ طَاوُسٍ، يُصَلِّي فِي جُبَّةٍ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ إِزَارٌ وَلَا رِدَاءٌ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، كَانَ لَا يَرَى بَأْسًا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي جُبَّةٍ وَحْدَهَا، وَالْقَمِيصِ وَحْدَهُ إِذَا كَانَ لَا يَصِفُهُ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, said:
✧ I saw Ibn Ṭāwūs praying in a jubbah (outer garment) with no waist-wrapper or cloak on him. I asked him, and he informed me that his father saw no harm in praying in a jubbah alone, or a qamīṣ (shirt) alone, if it did not describe [the body].
