عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ:
شَهِدَ عَلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ثَلَاثَةٌ بِالزِّنَا، وَنَكَلَ زِيَادٌ فَحَدَّ عُمَرُ الثَّلَاثَةَ، وَقَالَ لَهُمْ: " تُوبُوا تُقْبَلْ شَهَادَتُكُمْ "، فَتَابَ رَجُلَانِ، وَلَمْ يَتُبْ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ، فَكَانَ لَا يَقْبَلُ شَهَادَتَهُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرَةَ أَخُو زِيَادٍ لِأُمِّهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِ زِيَادٍ مَا كَانَ حَلَفَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ، أَنْ لَا يُكَلِّمَ زِيَادًا أَبَدًا، فَلَمْ يُكَلِّمْهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ
