عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ قَالَ:
ابْتَهَرَ ابْنُ أَبِي الصَّعْبَةِ بِامْرَأَةٍ فِي شِعْرِهِ، فَرُفِعَ إِلَى عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: انْظُرُوا إِلَى مُؤْتَزَرِهِ، فَلَمْ يُنْبِتْ، قَالَ: " لَوْ كُنْتَ أَنْبَتَّ بِالشَّعْرِ لَجَلَدْتُكَ الْحَدَّ
