عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَيَمَسُّ الْجُنُبُ وَالْحَائِضُ الْمُصْحَفَ وَهُوَ فِي خِبَائِهِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا. قُلْتُ: فَبَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمَا وَبَيْنَ أَخْبِيَتِهِ ثَوْبٌ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَا الْخِبَاءُ أَكَفُّ مِنَ الثَّوْبِ. قُلْتُ: فَغَيْرُ الْمُتَوَضِّئِ وَهُوَ فِي خِبَائِهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، لَا يَضُرُّهُ. قُلْتُ: فَيَأْخُذُهُ مُطْبَقًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ I said to Ata: 'May the junub and the menstruating woman touch the mushaf while it is in its covering?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'What if there is a cloth between them and its covering?' He said: 'No, and the covering is no more protective than the cloth.' I said: 'What about someone without wudu while it is in its covering?' He said: 'Yes, it does not harm him.' I said: 'May he take it closed?' He said: 'Yes.'
