قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
لَمَّا أُخْبِرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ فَرَّ، قَالَ: فَهَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ، أَوْ قَالَ: فَلَوْلَا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ.
