عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ:
لَيْسَ نَصَارَى الْعَرَبِ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ، إِنَّمَا أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ الَّذِينَ جَاءَتْهُمُ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ، فَأَمَّا مَنْ دَخَلَ فِيهِمْ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَلَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ "
