Translation

✧ “O Mother of the Believers, what is lawful for a man from his wife when she is menstruating?” She said, “What is above the waist-wrapper.” Masrūq nudged a man who was with him with his hand, meaning, “Listen.” I said, “And what is lawful for me from her when I am fasting?” She said, “Everything except intercourse.”
