✧ Combing the hair of the menstruating woman

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:

سُئِلَ أَتَخْدُمُنِي الْحَائِضُ، أَوْ تَدْنُو مِنِّي، أَوْ تَخْدُمُنِي الْمَرْأَةُ وَهِيَ جُنُبٌ ؟ فَقَالَ عُرْوَةُ: كُلُّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي هَيِّنٌ، وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ تَخْدُمُنِي وَلَيْسَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ بَأْسٌ.

Translation

✧ ʿUrwah was asked, “May a menstruating woman serve me, or come close to me, or may a woman serve me while she is in a state of major ritual impurity?” He replied, “All of that is easy in my view, and all of that—she may serve me, and there is no harm in that.”
