✧ Intimate contact with the menstruating woman

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ:
كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي لِحَافِهِ فَحِضْتُ فَانْسَلَلْتُ مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكِ أَنَفِسْتِ ؟ - يَعْنِي الْحَيْضَةَ - قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَشُدِّي عَلَيْكَ ثِيَابَكِ قَالَتْ: فَشَدَدْتُ عَلَيَّ ثِيَابَ حَيْضَتِي، ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ فَاضْطَجَعْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
Translation
✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ under his blanket and I menstruated, so I slipped away from him. He said: What is the matter with you? Have you started menstruating? - meaning the menses. She said: Yes. He said: Tie your garments firmly around yourself. She said: So I tied my menstrual garments firmly around myself, then I returned and lay down with the Prophet ﷺ.
