عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
أَتَتْهَا نِسَاءٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ فَقَالَتْ: لَعَلَّكُنَّ مِنَ الْكُورَةِ الَّتِي تَدْخُلُ نِسَاؤُهَا الْحَمَّامَاتِ ؟ قُلْنَا [١]: نَعَمْ، قَالَتْ: فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ وَضَعَتْ ثِيَابَهَا فِي غَيْرِ بَيْتِهَا، فَقَدْ هَتَكَتْ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. أَوْ: سِتْرَ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Translation
✧ Women from the people of Syria came to her, and she said: Perhaps you are from the district whose women enter bathhouses? We said [1]: Yes. She said: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: “Any woman who takes off her clothes in a place other than her own house has torn what is between her and God, Mighty and Majestic.” Or: “the veil between her and God, Mighty and Majestic.”
