Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ was at al-Abwa, he came forward and saw a man bathing in the open on a watering trough. The Prophet ﷺ turned back and stood. When they saw him standing, they came out to him from their saddles. He said: God is modest and loves modesty, and He is veiling and loves concealment. When one of you bathes, let him conceal himself. Abdullah b. Ubayd and Yusuf b. al-Hakam then said: He also said along with that: Fear God, and he said: Let his brother or his servant pour water over him; if there is none, let him bathe beside his camel. The Prophet ﷺ said something, all of it about that.
