عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
لَمَّا بُنِيَتِ الْكَعْبَةُ ذَهَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَعَبَّاسٌ يَنْقُلَانِ الْحِجَارَةَ، فَقَالَ عَبَّاسٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: اجْعَلْ إِزَارَكَ عَلَى رَقَبَتِكَ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ فَفَعَلَ فَخَرَّ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، وَطَمَحَتْ عَيْنَاهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَالَ: إِزَارِي إِزَارِي، فَشُدَّ عَلَيْهِ إِزَارُهُ
Translation
✧ When the Kaaba was built, the Prophet ﷺ and 'Abbas went to carry stones. 'Abbas said to the Prophet ﷺ: Put your waist-wrapper on your neck to protect you from the stones. He did so and fell to the ground, and his eyes turned toward the sky. Then he stood up and said: My waist-wrapper, my waist-wrapper. So his waist-wrapper was tied around him.
