✧ A man sleeping while junub, or eating or drinking

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ كُنْتُ جُنُبًا فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَطْعَمَ أَوْ أَشْرَبَ فَتَوَضَّأْتُ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغْتُ أَحْدَثْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَطْعَمَ، أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِّي الْوُضُوءُ الْأَوَّلُ ؟ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: فَاطْعَمْ وَاشْرَبْ

Translation

✧ I said to Ata: What do you think if I were junub and wanted to eat or drink, so I performed wudu, and when I finished I passed wind before eating - does the first wudu suffice? Ma'mar said: Then eat and drink.
