عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ اسْتَفْتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَيَنَامُ أَحَدُنَا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، لِيَتَوَضَّأْ، ثُمَّ لِيَنَمْ حَتَّى يَغْتَسِلَ إِذَا شَاءَ قَالَ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ صَبَّ عَلَى يَدِهِ مَاءً، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ بِيَدِهِ الشِّمَالِ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ الَّتِي غَسَلَ بِهَا فَرْجَهُ، ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ وَنَضَحَ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ نَامَ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ شَيْئًا وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ.
Translation
✧ Umar sought a ruling from the Prophet ﷺ and said: May one of us sleep while junub? He said: Yes, let him perform wudu, then let him sleep until he performs ghusl when he wishes. He said: Abdullah b. Umar, when he wanted to sleep while junub, would pour water on his hand, then wash his private part with his left hand, then wash the hand with which he washed his private part, then rinse his mouth and sniff water and blow it out, sprinkle water in his eyes, wash his face and hands up to the elbows, wipe his head, then sleep; and when he wanted to eat something while junub he would do likewise.
