عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ،
أَنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنَ الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ لِابْنَةٍ لَهُ - أَوْ لِامْرَأَتِهِ -: خَلِّلِي رَأْسَكِ بِالْمَاءِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُخَلِّلَهُ اللهُ بِنَارٍ، قَلِيلٌ بَقَاؤُهُ عَلَيْهَا
Translation
✧ Ḥudhayfah b. al-Yamān said to a daughter of his — or to his wife —: Saturate your head with water before God saturates it with fire; how little it remains on her.
