Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: What do you think of a person in a state of major ritual impurity who performs ghusl but does not finish it before breaking wind in the middle of it? He said: He should perform ablution on the parts of the body washed for ablution that he has already washed, and wash the remainder for his major impurity, but he does not wash again for major impurity what he has already washed. He said: There is no harm in a junub breaking wind in the middle of his ghusl if he performs ablution for prayer afterward.
