10303 10234 - قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ نص إضافيفِي نَصْرَانِيٍّ مَاتَ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِشَاهِدَيْنِ مِنَ النَّصَارَى بِأَنَّ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ، وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ النَّصَارَى بِشُهُودٍ مِنَ النَّصَارَى بِأَنَّ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ. قَالَ: " هُوَ لِلْمُسْلِمِ؛ لِأَنَّ شَهَادَةَ النَّصْرَانِيِّ تَضُرُّ بِحَقِّ الْمُسْلِمِ ". قَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ: " الْكُفْرُ مِلَّةٌ، وَالْإِسْلَامُ مِلَّةٌ ".
Translation
✧ 10303 10234 - Al-Thawri said, regarding a Christian who died, and a Muslim man came with two Christian witnesses that he was owed one thousand dirhams by him, and a Christian man came with Christian witnesses that he was owed one thousand dirhams by him. He said: 'It belongs to the Muslim, because the Christian's testimony harms the right of the Muslim.' Al-Thawri said: 'Disbelief is one religion, and Islam is one religion.'
